Introducing theconneXtion Digital Albums! A digital album is a zip file containing a set of MP3 files and a JPG of the cover image for the album. Tell me more about the MP3's The MP3's are extremely high quality, with a bit rate of 320 kbps, encoded in the MPEG-1, layer 3 format. These MP3 files are DRM free, and should play on any device that can currently handle MP3 files. The file size of the MP3 is highly dependent upon the length of the song, but typically they are about 2-3MB per minute of music, much higher than typical, lower quality downloads at other sites. How do I get my digital albums? After you finish the checkout process, you will immediately be able to download your digital albums from your Digital Locker. The digital locker is a place to organize and download all of the digital content that you have purchased from theconneXtion.com. It will list every album, individual song file, movie, or ringtone. For digital albums, you will see the Artist's Name, Album Title, File Name, Number of Tracks, File Size, and the date that it was added to your locker. ![]() How do I open a digital album? The digital albums are zipped up so that they are easier to download and manage. You can use any readily available zip program to open the zip file, such as WinZip or WinRAR for the PC, and Zipit for the Mac.
