More than an album. More than a book. This special edition release (2011) of Marathon is an elegant collaboration between Smith and the renowned artist and photographer Kate Breakey. Smith's original lyrics are paired with 16 of Breakey's stunning photographs and photograms that illustrate the haunting desert aura that inspired Marathon. Each 32-page book includes download instructions for a digital album with the original 15 tracks, plus six additional acoustic tracks featuring four live radio recordings and two solo piano pieces.
